High Speed Chase Through Three Counties Ends In Injuries.


A high speed chase started in Baker County when a former police cruiser was spotted allegedly doing over 100 mph. Columbia County Deputies Began their persuit on
Hwy 90 west and continued for many miles. The suspect changed his route turning south on C.R.245. The chase was reported to be up to 120 mph. The suspect then lost control 1.3 miles South of C.R.238 and the C.R.245 intersection. He went off the road and slid around 100 feet before hitting a tree. The suspect and his passenger were injured with her injuries(the passenger) being more serious.
